"Silence of Sparkle"

This painting is intended to be used as a point of reflection and act as a visual reminder to uplift the seeker.

After hearing the greatest "papa" (limiting/untrue belief) is to "look down upon oneself" from an Advaitan Swami, this painting was born as a simple chunky upward arrow in green.

The painting was then iterated to capture the culmination of “looking up upon oneself”. The arrow was painted in the background and merges with individual short brushstrokes in sattvic colours throughout the middle of the painting. The gold glitter symbolizes "Lakshmi’s Sparkle". The short strokes reflect the continual, moment to moment pulsating nature of this apparent, ephemeral 3D reality. The chakras are painted with glitter at the center point of each circle to reflect their harmony and balance. The green background colour further emphasizes the Divinely grounded nature of the “Sparkle” impulses and also is the colour that denotes the the heart, anahata in Sanskri chakra.

The N painted subtly in the background illustrates the fundamental neutrality of any one “Sparkle” impulse. This acts as a critical reminder for our disconnected, limited identity, and thus perpetually mining self that inevitably gets entangled with the characteristically fleeting albeit “sparkling” nature of a pursuit or object. This is meant to allow full Sparkle expression.
The light pink colour in the first and bottom third of the painting represents the ash of vibuti. This ash is meant to denote immediate Peace and Transcendence. It is book-ends the painting, signifying that these infinite pulsing beautiful, harmonious “desires” arise from Peace, resolve in Peace.
The three ash pink lines represent the identification as “I am”; this overlays or pervades the entire apparent Sparkle Expression. When the egomind finds this concept too disrupting, it also services as a reminder that Sparkle Expression or relative peace of mind cannot exist without simultaneous true understanding of self.
